Saturday sees Lancaster City take on Trafford in the Emirates FA Cup, with a 3pm KO at Giant Axe.

The Dolly Blues embark on their FA Cup journey for the 2018/19 season, which we're hoping will be an adventurous one.

Trafford provide this weekends opposition, making the trip up the M6, coming into the game off back to back losses vs Runcorn Linnets (1-2) and Radcliffe FC (0-5).

Trafford progressed to this round by beating AFC Darwen in the last round (4-1).

City have had an equally turbulent start to the season, picking up their only point in the last game vs an unbeaten Bamber Bridge side on Tuesday night.

Performances for City have vastly improved in the last 3 games though (vs Marine, Gainsborough and Bamber Bridge), and Phil Brown's men will be looking to gain a safe passage to the next round, although under no illusions that Trafford will provide a tough opposition to displace.
