MATCH PREVIEW: City vs. Witton Albion

By Media Team

By Jack Towers

After last week's heartbreak, City are back at home to face Witton Albion in a crucial bottom half clash.

Albion sit a little more comfortable in 14th but are just four points above the Dollies in the table.

City came up short again last week against high flying Warrington Town due to a 95th minute dramatic equaliser.

Paul Dawson is set to make his first appearance for the club since joining from Bamber Bridge.

Speaking ahead of his expected debut, Dawson said: "It’s my local club and I’ve always wanted to play for my hometown club and when I got asked I couldn’t say yes quick enough.

"He didn’t have to sell the club to me, I know most of the lads there now and knew the changing room would be class to join."

On what he's most looking forward to he said: "Keeping the club up and building on next year set for promotion!"
