MATCH PREVIEW: Witton Albion vs. Lancaster City

By Media Team

By Jack Towers

Witton Albion play host to Lancaster City on Saturday, as Mark Fell looks to continue his impressive start at the reigns.

Witton Albion come into this game inside the bottom three but have a hefty five games in-hand on City.

City, however, are still sat three points clear with a win giving the Dolly Blues the chance to gain a more comfortable gap above the drop zone.

Saturday is also a return to league action, after two cup games on the trot against division rivals Marine.

City defeated Marine 0-2 in the FA Trophy but were second best on Tuesday, this time losing 2-0 in the Integro League Cup in what was a younger looking side put out by Fell.

What has Mark Fell said?

"I've been really pleased with the lad's performances in general, in terms of graft, determination and desire, they've risen to every challenge we've set them.

"The win over Marine was great but the priority is without a doubt, getting the points on the board so I might have been even happier if it was worth three points.

"Our focus is now on Witton Albion this weekend and doing what we can do to get a positive result."
