NEW SIGNING: Webb-Foster arrives to bolster City attack!

By Shane Hudson

Lancaster City are pleased to announce the signing of Reece Webb-Foster.

The 20 year old forward arrives after a professional stint with Bradford City where he graduated from the academy before making his professional debut in 2014 as a 16 year old in League One. Loan spells followed in the Conference and Conference North with Guisely, Bradford Park Avenue and Harrogate.

After leaving Bradford he spent a short spell at the start of this season with Colne where he scored 5 goals in the first 6 games and Dollies boss Mark Fell has high hopes for his new signing:

"We kept tabs on him earlier this season and when the opportunity arose we felt he would be a good addition to our side, we've wanted to strengthen our attacking options and he's the sort of player that fits the bill. He's direct in the way he plays, a natural finisher and he's hungry to get back playing his best football."

Reece goes straight into the squad for tonight's Integro cup game at Marine.

In other transfer news, the club can confirm Rob Henry's return to Lancaster. Rob arrives as part of Mark Fell's coaching staff but will also be registered as a player. Jack Sims has also had his loan from Blackpool FC extended for a further 28 days.
