1 week ago By Eric Williams

Lancaster City Football Club is saddened to hear about the death of former City Director Trevor Webb.

Trevor joined Lancaster City as a player for the 1961-62 season in the Lancashire Combination and initially played for the 2nd team but soon made his 1st team debut on 2nd September 61. Trevor made a total of 44 games and scored 16 goals.
Trevor then joined Morecambe for three seasons before joining Chorley for a short period before returning back to Giant Axe for one more season when he scored 20 goals from 23 appearances from all games.
Trevor eventually became Manager for the Reserve Team and then went one further and became a director of Lancaster City FC.
All our thoughts are with his family at this time, the beloved husband of Muriel and father to Andrea, Adrian and Suzanne.
The funeral service will take place at St. Pauls Parish Church Scotforth on Tuesday 12th June at 11.30am.
